International Day

International Day is a day where Montgomery Montessori School has been celebrating their communities diversity for the past 13 years.

We will be celebrating by having everyone dressed in an cultural costume to represent their ethnicity or one of their choosing.

There will be food from around the world and performances by few cultural groups.

Montgomery Montessori School students will also be performing.

International Day Of Peace-

September 21st 2012

Peace Day is on September 21st. Our school will be starting our Peace project, "Pinwheels For Peace", start of this school year. On Friday, September 21st, the children will plant their Pinwheels outside in our lawn and with the permission of the Village, at the Village Hall, like last year. This has been our tradition for the last 13 years. We read to the children about peace and ask them questions like what kind of peace would they wish for themselves, their families, and the world. We love to hear their responses.

Canned Food Drive

for Montgomery Food Pantry

A big part of education at Montgomery Montessori School is teaching the children grace and courtesy. This can include: greeting someone, apologizing, answering the phone, setting the table, cleaning your room, picking up trash, donating to those in need, and being a good friend. For the month of November they focused on "The Hungry". During this time the students at Montgomery Montessori School decided to hold a canned food drive to raise food items for the Montgomery food pantry. In just a few weeks they collected a large amount of goods that the upper class students excitedly dropped off at the panty on Tuesday the 20th, just in time for Thanksgiving. : )

Masquerade Ball 11/9/2025

Montgomery Montessori and Artists in The Parks held a Masquerade Ball, on November 9th at the Arrow Park Castle. Thanks to everyone for joyning us and supporting our organizations. We will continue our efforts in preserving and educating our students about the natural world.
