“Cooking Club”

Club Description-The cooking club is an introduction to cooking for kids (with adult supervision). We will be making healthy, easy and delicious dishes which could feature as breakfasts, snacks, lunches, dinners and desserts. A recipe booklet with all the recipies will be given to the participants. In the 1 hour class we will attempt 2 recipes, some of the ingredients maybe preprepared and used for assembly due to the short time, but a detailed recipe will be provided in the recipe booklet. Each participant will have to bring a little container to take home a portion of the recipe prepared. Usually participants will work in pairs for a recipe (depending on numbers enrolled). The 8th class will be a farewell party, where we will choose 2 favorite recipes (drawing lots) and each participant may invite 1 guest. The participants will cook the recipe on their own for their guests (with adult supervision of course).
Each participant will be required to bring an apron for him/herself, a container to take the cooked food home and maybe asked to bring in a single serve bake and eat dish (ramekin, soufle bowl etc) as per requirement of a recipe.
