Amy Fiorito graduated summa cum laude from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s of Music and a Master’s of Music in Instrumental Performance. She studied under the tutelage of Trudy Kane, former principal flutist of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, and served as Graduate Teaching Assistant and Henry Mancini Orchestra Fellow. Amy has performed with renowned artists Patti Austin, Jon Secada, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Arturo Sandoval, Monica Mancini, and Michael Feinstein. She also appeared in the PBS-televised concert and Grammy-nominated album, “An Evening with Dave Grusin,” produced by Larry Rosen and Phil Ramone. Amy has given several solo and group performances at annual Florida Flute Association Conventions and has played piccolo with the Florida Grand Opera. She has been a teaching artist and an adjucator in various music programs in South Florida and has maintained a private flute studio for several years. Amy enjoys teaching flute to students of all ages and skill levels.
